I am sorry to hear this important to you issue is indeed still not resolved. After a discussion with the development team, the priority of the bug report was raised and hopefully we will manage to resolve it soon.

On our side, we have simply removed the virtualization from our panels. However, we have suffered a performance hit doing so. We are also looking forward to the resolution of this issue.
