When SelectedItem is initially bound to an object and the Tab focus passed through the control the text in it disappears.

I can't believe we have to vote on these issues that ARE the core functionality of the control.  

For those experiencing this problem, we've worked around the issue by adding some events to our look-less version of this control.  When you tab through the
