If SnapAppointments is enabled and DayStartTime is set, when the appointment is dragged to the top of the DayView, it can be dropped outside the visible hours.
Available in LIB version 2015.3.1026, it will be also available in the 2015 Q3 SP.

Being dropped outside the visible hours is not the issue, the issue is that it drops the appointment at the wrong time (I think it goes to the day end time of the previous day not 100% sure). To the end user it appears that this appointment has vanished.
