RichTextBox: Add split table cell command
Splitting table cells is currently not supported and it would be a nice addition to the functionality related to tables. Menu item should be added to the default table context menu.

Hi,

We would like to inform you that in our latest Q2 2015 release we have introduced "unmerge" command for table cells, which splits previously merged cells. 
Please note that currently it is still not possible to split a table cell which has not been previously merged, but once we have any progress on this, we will update the thread again.

This feature did not make it in the plan for Q1 2014, but it is on top of the backlog and hopefully we will be able to implement it for a release soon after that.

Hi,

Our customer is putting a lot of pressure on us, for getting this functionality working. We are very of weary of implementing this ourselves. 

Are there any news about when or if this feature will be implemented?

Hi lnja,
At this point the feature is not scheduled and I'm unable to comments on when it might be available. I'd suggest following this item in order to be notified about any changes in the status of the item.
