OpenClick of menu

Hi,

 

I am using [OpenClick] = "true" on Kendo-menu but it only applies when I click intially(on root arrows) but when I click the children it does not apply but instead opens on hover.

I want all the sub items to be opened with 'click' and not just root items. Can you please let me know..

Hi Pallavi,

Indeed this is the current behavior of the Menu component. As you already know, by default the menu items are open on hover by default. Setting the opneOnClick option to true will open the items with a click, then all Menu items open on hover until one of them is selected.

However, it would be a nice enhancement if sub-items can be opened with a click. That is why I converted this ticket to a feature request item and added your vote.

This way people can help us determine the demand for this enhancement and prioritize our development tasks accordingly.
