Barcode reader
We are using Telerik Ajax controls in our web site. We need a functionality where user can read a barcoded value using camera device or barcode image on a web page.

We found that Ajax Barcode control has only Barcode generator functionality.

Is there a way we can read barcode value on web site?

I would find a professional react component very useful. There are commercial webassembly products out there and their licensing terms are ridiculous and unworkable. I would pay extra for this component.

Thank you for your nice feature request!

Presently the Telerik UI for ASP.NET AJAX suite offers only a barcode component, but not yet a reader. Nevertheless, there are some useful third party solutions at StackOverflow which might help you achieve your goal:

Since our backlog with new functionality and feature is community driven, if this FR item becomes popular we will definitely think of providing such a control in the future.
