When using custom shapes (circles, triangles, etc) in a RadHtmlChart, the custom shape should be displayed in the legend instead of always a square. This is because when printing with a black & white printer, the colored squares won't help the reader read the chart, however the shapes would.
Won't fix

Setup:

  1. Create a page with a basic Rad Editor, with HTML mode enabled
  2. Go into HTML Mode, add at least the following:
    <input type="number" />
  3. Go back to Design Mode
  4. Click on the numeric input

To See the Problem:

  1. In the console of the Browser's Developer Tools, get a reference to the Rad Editor
  2. Call its getSelectedElement() function
  3. In Chrome, the returned element will be a <body> tag (NOT GOOD)
  4. In Firefox, it will be an apparently random (maybe the first?) user-selectable element within the HTML (NOT GOOD)
  5. In IE11, it will be the numeric input (DESIRED)
  6. In Edge, it will be a <body> tag (NOT GOOD)

When viewing a line chart with multiple series, the RadHtmlChart automatically changes shapes for each series to make it easy to distinguish, however the shapes are not carried over to the legend. This means a user printing on a black & white printer will have no way to distinguish the different series (since the shapes are not in the legend).

Bug introduced in build 2019.1.115+ causes 3 extra <p>&nbsp;</p> when user presses Enter key in FireFox.  Happens when Editor is in a Wizard with more than one step.  Bug does not occur in builds prior to 2019.1.115.

Try this to reproduce:

 <telerik:RadWizard runat="server" ID="rwMain" BorderStyle="Solid" BorderColor="LightGray" BorderWidth="1px" RenderMode="Lightweight" DisplayNavigationButtons="True">

In combo box once a value is selected there is no option to clear the selection. We can have an additional button outside the combo box to achieve the same.

This will require some additional coding.

Since this is a regular scenario why can't there be a property within the RadCombo Box that makes clear selection button visible next to the combo box drop-down button and does the task of clearing the selection?

Currently the available appearance options of the line in Area, Line and ScatterLine Series are width and background color. Expose additional option for changing the dash type(e.g. dash, dashDot, Dot, etc). For the time being the following workaround can be used:
		<script>
			function pageLoad() {
				var chart = $find("<%=RadHtmlChart1.ClientID%>");
				//DashType: dash, dashDot, dot, longDash, longDashDot, longDashDotDot, solid
				chart._chartObject.options.series[0].dashType = "dot";
				chart.repaint();
			}
		</script>
		<telerik:RadHtmlChart ID="RadHtmlChart1" runat="server" Width="600px" Height="400px">
			<PlotArea>
				<Series>
					<telerik:LineSeries Name="Series 1">
						<SeriesItems>
							<telerik:CategorySeriesItem Y="30" />
							<telerik:CategorySeriesItem Y="10" />
							<telerik:CategorySeriesItem Y="20" />
						</SeriesItems>
					</telerik:LineSeries>
				</Series>
				<XAxis>
					<Items>
						<telerik:AxisItem LabelText="item 1" />
						<telerik:AxisItem LabelText="item 2" />
						<telerik:AxisItem LabelText="item 3" />

We've a RadEditor controls, we want disable editting in mobile render mode. How can we do it?

Here examle:

Case 1. RadEditor is LightWeight:

<telerik:RadEditor ID="redEdt" runat="server"    RenderMode="LightWeight"     Width="100%" Height="500px" ></telerik:RadEditor>

<script>
                $(document).ready(function () {
                    var editor = $telerik.findControl(document.documentElement, "redEdt");
                    editor.enableEditing(false);
                })

</script>

--> It work great. All buttons in toolbar disabled.

Case 2. RadEditor is Mobile:

<telerik:RadEditor ID="redEdt" runat="server"    RenderMode="Mobile"     Width="100%" Height="500px" ></telerik:RadEditor>

<script>
                $(document).ready(function () {
                    var editor = $telerik.findControl(document.documentElement, "redEdt");
                    editor.enableEditing(false);
                })

</script>

--> System error:

Issue can be replicated using the following Grid settings:

  • Wire up the onCommand client-side event to the grid
  • Set the excel format to Biff
  • Set the RenderMode to Lightweight
  • Enable Sorting

<telerik:RadGrid ID="RadGrid2" runat="server" RenderMode="Lightweight" AllowSorting="true">
    <ExportSettings>
        <Excel Format="Biff" />
    </ExportSettings>
    <ClientSettings>
        <ClientEvents OnCommand="onCommand" />
    </ClientSettings>
    <MasterTableView AutoGenerateColumns="True" CommandItemDisplay="Top">
        <CommandItemSettings ShowExportToExcelButton="true" />
    </MasterTableView>

Bootstrap popularity is growing each day, not just as a flexible grid system, but for it's skinning capabilieties as well. There are dozens of sites with both free and priced Bootstrap skins..
It would be nice to have a skin for rad controls wich maps straight to default Bootstrap classes.
So that just using the bootstrap skins (+ base Telerik controls skin) will also theme the rad controls and changing the Bootstrap themes of course changes the controls theming.

I guess that option to have a "straight" mapping of the rad controls to the bootstrap default classes so to be able to take advantage of bootstrap themes would be a great addition.

=====================
Updated by Telerik admin on 10.4.2017:
The status of this highly demanded feature has been updated to Declined, but you can find details what has been done during the years for satisfying this request:

Since the markup of the controls does not offer direct mapping for the Bootstrap v3 and v4 themes and classes, we introduced a new Bootstrap skin for the suite based on Bootstrap 3 component colors, metrics and appearance. This skin can be easily customized in the Theme Builder (http://themebuilder.telerik.com/aspnet-ajax) in terms of colors which allows you to create Bootstrap like appearance for Telerik Ajax components which matches the colors of your Bootstrap apps and components.

If you have any other requests for Bootstrap, don't hesitate to share them with us.

You can configure the confirm dialog through a ConfirmText property that defines the confirmation text. The boolean result can be exposed in the arguments of the click event. If there is a RadWindowManager on the same page a radconfirm should be used otherwise - the browser one.

For the time being the functionality can be achieved manually as illustrated in this demo - http://demos.telerik.com/aspnet-ajax/button/examples/confirm/defaultcs.aspx

The checkboxes decorated with RadFormDecorator appeared double in Classic rendering after upgrading to Firefox 63.

Steps to reproduce:
1. Upgrade to Firefox 63
2. Run the following setup
        <telerik:RadFormDecorator runat="server" DecoratedControls="CheckBoxes" RenderMode="Classic" />
        <div>asp:Checkbox</div>
        <asp:CheckBox ID="chkApproved" runat="server" Text="asp:Checkbox" />

        <div>Html Input</div>
        <input id="chkApproved1" type="checkbox" name="chkApproved" />

======================================

Solutions found so far:
1) Use RadFormDecorator in Lightweight RenderMode:
     <telerik:RadFormDecorator runat="server" RenderMode="Lightweight"/>

2) Set the RadFormDecorator's DecoratedControls="All":
     <telerik:RadFormDecorator runat="server" RenderMode="Classic" DecoratedControls="All"  />

3) Set the ControlsToSkip="CheckBoxes"
      <telerik:RadFormDecorator runat="server" RenderMode="Classic" ControlsToSkip="CheckBoxes"  />

4) Or add the following CSS overwrite to the page:
        <style>
           .rfdCheckboxUnchecked, .rfdCheckboxChecked {
               padding: 0 !important;
               background-image: none !important;
           }
       </style>

Currently, to make the MultiColumnComboBox control work in an EditTemplate of a Grid in Batch EditMode, custom implementation is needed as explained in Batch Editing Working With Templates and demonstrated here: Show short date, edit full date with batch editing
