Some org charts use a "side" connect to administrative assistants, where instead of connecting on top, they connect on the side to visualize the difference between them and other reports. Perhaps a "where to connect" property may fix this (top by default, then on the left or on the right).
It would be useful if the RadOrgChart control had a mechanism for grouping employees/entities in a department. An example would be a Sales Department at a leaf node made up of managers. The department would have an additional group indicator on it, but selecting an individual manager in the group would drill through to that manager and his reports. With the current behaviour, if a single VP manages sales and finance, all reports beneath them would look the same.
For web service bound RadOrgChart there needs to be the ability to use ItemTemplates. The order that the FieldRenderers and Text come back from the web service request can't be controlled. When I set the Text field to the name of the employee and add two FieldRendererData objects for the title and phone number the title and phone number are always placed above the employee's name when displayed. The layout can't be changed using templates.
If it is possible could you please add support for multiple parents to RadOrgChart. This is currently not supported.
