ChartView: Create scatter HistogramSeries
I would like to be able to create a histogram where both the x and y axis are linear series and where I can specify the start and end position of each bin (not just one). Previously described workarounds include using StepLineSeries and bar series which cannot have two linear series. I cannot use a scatter plot series as they do not provide the step-wise look of the histogram. Please add this support!

Hello Russ,

Thank you for the feedback. Can you post a link to the forum where you found the custom solution, for anyone else interested in it?

Agreed, the solution I found in the forums works very well except for zooming along the Y axis. The data gets dropped once the series values are outside of the zoom window. Hence, it only keeps the series data shown inside of the zoom window. This problem is very visible if you raise the zoom level above 0, as all the data bars are removed, and only the series values on the display.

I used a suggestion of a scatter points series and drawing rectangles up to the values to show the histogram.

Agree that we do not want uniform bin widths -- as this results in the need to over sample, which causes other problems.
