Spreadsheet: Add support for import/export of XLSB documents
XLSB is binary format that should theoretically allow fast reading and writing to the file.

Thank you for sharing your feedback with us. The priority of each request is determined by multiple factors, including the customer demand for the particular task. Although I completely understand that this functionality is important for you, the team is currently working on more demanded tasks and this one is still not included in the planning. Thus, I cannot share a specific time frame when the support for XLSB documents might be available. Please, accept our apologies for the inconvenience this is causing you.

Hi Tanya,

We could certainly benefit from this functionality and so will many financial institutions that have Telerik and also heavily rely on excel for Adhoc or model calculations.

I raised the issue also with Gerogi our account manager to prioritise within Progress if possible.

Hi Tanya,

I noticed this ticket was created in 2016. How does this get prioritized? A lot of our files are .xlsb and is common practice and we needed this to load our workbook into a stream using the SpreadControl but found out this file format is not supported - why has it still not been implemented?
