Add property that controls the position of the popup that is part of the DropDownList component

Currently, the popup of the DropDownList component opens only at the bottom of the component.

It will be a very nice feature if the Native DropDownList has a property that can configure the popup of the component to appear above its input.

This functionality will also be useful in scenarios where the DropDownList(DDL) is positioned at the bottom of a page. With the current implementation, when the DDL popup is expanded part of its items are hidden by the page borders.

Hi Tim,

Thank you for referring the bug with the Popup list of the Date Inputs and Dropdowns. Yes, the scenario when the popup hides below the browser's borders is a bug.

Talking about the current Feature request, we will keep it as a separate thread. The possibility of configuring the DropDownList's popup direction, no matter where the component is positioned, is a valid Feature request.

Regards,
Petar

The fact that it flows off the end of the page is actually a bug.

But I agree, allowing it to be controllable (Always flip) would be a nice to have as well
