Requesting "Masked Mode" on Date/Time inputs

I would like to request a mode for the Kendo React Date and Time Inputs that would allow the use of a mask like that of the MaskedTextBox - allowing the user to type freely without having to make use the arrow keys for each individual date/time part.

This is a important feature as well for our users, they would like to not have to type the segment separator (forward slash in our case) or use the arrow keys when inputting dates. Like the MUI Date Field component: https://mui.com/x/react-date-pickers/fields/

Hello, Kevin,

If I correctly understand the request, the main requirement is to automatically go to the next section after the current one is typed. For example, after typing 10 for the day portion we should go to the next portion (month/year based on the format).

Please clarify if this is correct as this will help us better plan for the feature.
