For the timeline option in the scheduler, currently there is no possibility to have a user-defined order where two or more events overlap regardless the chronological order.
We have a use case where we need to set a specific user-defined order or a priority for the event to be displayed as first.

For example, a way to set in the data for the event "Morning" to display first instead of "Laboratory Equipment". It cannot depend on the time range.

Thank you!

By the way, it's not only about making it show up as a first event but it could also be displayed always as the last one.
Thank you, Martin!

Hello Rodrigo,

Yes, currently there is no built-in option to order the events in the Timeline based on custom priority, not on their duration. Right now, the Scheduler sorts the events based on their start and end times. Events with longer durations are placed on top.

Having an option to decide which events to be displayed first sounds like a good enhancement of the Scheduler.

Thank you for your feedback.

I took the example where the events overlap but take into account that it doesn't need to depend on whether they overlap or not.
