MultiColumnComboBox has extra border-width in table, that brokes proper ui ligning

In MultiColumnComboBox .k-table-header-wrap sets extra border-right-width, in result cells and column vertical separator is not consistent.

Can be reproduced in telerik demo page Angular Dropdowns MultiColumnComboBox Data Binding - Kendo UI for Angular (telerik.com)

Hi Svitlana,

Thank you for the additional information. Let's focus on the Chrome-specific issue with the MultiColumnComboBox at 100% zoom:

  1. Browser Extensions: Disable any Chrome extensions temporarily to see if they might be affecting the rendering. Testing the example in incognito mode can also help.

  2. Machine-Specific Issue: Since the issue is not reproducible with the same browser version on our side, consider testing on a different machine to confirm if it's specific to your setup.

  3. Machine-scale Settings: While the browser zoom is 100% the machine display settings might be changed (scale option).

  4. Local Demo: Try creating an isolated Angular app and test the component layout.

Let us know how it goes.

Thanks for reply. I am aware of possible zoom issues, but this happens with 100% zoom.

I use Google Chrome(130.0.6723.92). Firefox works fine.

    Hello Svitlana,

Thank you for the provided feedback.

I checked the MutliColumnComboBox demo but the columns seem to be aligned:

In case the browser (or machine scale) is changed or any other mechanism of zooming the components, such misalignments are expected and reproducible in other scenarios and sites, mostly visible for borders. It is a well-known behavior and zooming the app in different browsers could lead to different behavior.

In these lines of words, similar misalignments caused by different browser zoom than 100% cannot be considered as a bug. Creating a single working solution for all browsers and all zoom levels isn't something that we aimed for and currently do not have plans to support.

If the browser or machine scale isn't changed, could you please provide some more details about the used browser, its version, or the machine specifications? Thank you in advance.
