Declining the feature request doesn't mean that it's invalid or wouldn't improve the usability of the component. We are still tracking the interest for it and will consider planning it in the future if gets popular. But at this point (considering the time when the feature has opened and votes collected so far) we decided to mark it as 'Declined'.

We understand that this isn't the best experience to see (especially when you are actively tracking its progress). That is why the state of the feature request isn't our final decision.

Will drop using Kendo soon. Bare minimum of features and very little progress on requests and updates to existing components. This "feature" should have been in the initial product. Open source appears to do a better job than a commercial package.
