Time Picker focus input selection

Hi,

 

Many of my users complain that when clicking the the time component in the "empty" space, the focus is automatically set to the minutes area.

See image for example (clicking where the arrow is pointing).

 

This is very confusing for them and causes them to make a lot of mistakes.

Is it possible to disable this behavior?

Hi Shahar,

Thank you for the provided details.

I converted this case to be a public feature request item, so that it can be voted for. This will help us to track the demand for the feature request and eventually provide it in a future release of Kendo UI for Angular. The feature request is available at the following link:

As a workaround, we could handle the generic (click) event and call the select() method in order to mark the whole content of the input as demonstrated in the following example:
