Select All functionality as a built-in feature of the MultiSelect component

Hi Telerik,

It would be great if we can add Select All functionality as a built-in feature of the MultiSelect component. It is especially useful when working with checkboxes, e.g., https://www.telerik.com/kendo-angular-ui/components/dropdowns/multiselect/templates/#toc-rendering-item-checkboxes.

Hi Jakub,

This feature request was discussed with the team and will be considered during the next Q2 planning cycle. The feature request thread will be updated if the item is included in the Q2 development plans.

Almost 7 years have passed since the creation of the original feature request... It there any chance that this might be implemented after all?

There is a tutorial (Angular Selecting All Checkboxes in the MultiSelect - Kendo UI for Angular) which suggests to add custom checkbox to the header of the Multiselect component. However, this solution totally fails when keyboard navigation is also considered because it is impossible to focus this custom checkbox with keyboard. Considering that "Select All" functionality has just been recently added to the Grid Column Chooser (Select All option in Column Chooser), it just seems natural to also consider this feature for the Multiselect component.
