Indeed, we prioritized releasing the DateTimepicker component, and the development of the disabled dates feature got a little delayed, but I am glad to inform you that it is now ready, and waiting final QA and testing.

It should be released in our Dev channel very soon.

As of today, it hasn't been released in the latest major release (2019 R3).

 

Any news on the matter?

Hi,

I am glad to inform you that we are currently developing a feature that will allow developers to disable certain dates based on a predefined custom logic.

This enhancement is scheduled for the next official release in mid-September.

why this feaure is not added yet, its been 2 years around. This is the most common feature a developer is needed.

We also need to disable weekends and specific dates that vary according to business logic.  This is an existing feature in Kendo UI for jQuery and Angular Material so hopefully not hard to port over.

please add this feature as it's quite normal to disable some working day or specific date according to business specific requirement

We also have a requirement to disable certain days of the week, the template kendoCalendarmonthCellTemplate helps to set the desired css but the dates are clickable. Please add the functionality to disable and make dates not clickable for the date picker.
