RadEditor Fails to Render in IE and IE Mode due to Embedded ECMAScript Syntax Errors
When loading RadEditor (Telerik UI for ASP.NET AJAX 2025 Q2) in Internet Explorer 10/11 or Edge in IE Compatibility Mode, the editor does not render and JavaScript errors occur immediately upon page load.

SCRIPT1002: Syntax error
SCRIPT5022: Sys.ArgumentUndefinedException: Value cannot be undefined. Parameter name: type

Hi Sharvi,

Thank you for reporting this issue. I have good news that we fixed it internally and it will be addressed in the next 2025 Q3 release, scheduled for August.

While we no longer officially support legacy browsers, we understand that our AJAX suite is still used by many enterprises running older environments that rely on Internet Explorer or IE Mode (Edge). As a small note of appreciation for helping us improve the product even in these scenarios, I have added Telerik points to your account.
