It would be nice to have this issue fixed as soon as possible since when setting the datasource of the chart the data will be stored in the viewstate and will not be lost during other postbacks. 

For now I am stuck creating the series items programmatically and have to call my BindChart function on all of the other postbacks on the page (even if partial) otherwise the bubbles will disappear.
