I have just discovered this issue myself.  When in Lightweight mode it always takes two clicks of the "Add" button on the RadGrid for it to actually fire the PerformInsert event.  Is there any news on this issue?  This says the issue is completed but I don't see any discussion of resolution.  I am using version 2015.2.623.45.
