when trying to use the Visual Style Builder with IE 11, I get error

"System requirements not met

The Visual Style Builder requires a modern browser.

You can either upgrade Internet Explorer, or try Firefox for better experience on javascript-rich applications, such as this."

Hi,

You should ensure that your IE is not placed in Compat mode.

Press F12 -> go to Emulation and see whether the Document mode and User Agent strings are not changed. They should be set to default as shown in this screenshot: http://screencast.com/t/XWs6iKm81nve
