was this every fixed or a solution found?

We have investigated the case thoroughly. This is not a bug, but an expected behavior. You need to save a new state after introducing major changes like these.

This also has a similar bug that new columns cannot be seen and do not show in the columns chooser menu. Between both of these bugs. It makes upgrading the application with persistence impossible.

Why is this not fixed.   If we have any future updates like adding or removing columns it will not work. Then we have to delete every saved persistence setting for all users. Please move this up and fix it.
