This is a limitation. When the RadDatePicker is disposed the DOM elements are removed depending on the HideAnimation-Duration property which by default is 300 ms. However in the case with grid and autopostback on filtering the animation duration cannot be executed because the postback is performed. 
Possible workarounds: 
Set HideAnimation-Duration to 0 or use shared calendars.
