We always strive to address our customers' feedback when it comes to new features and improvements for the existing controls.

We updated the status of the item to Unplanned because this valuable feature is under our radar and we do want to implement it, but since the demand for it is low for the past years, its backlog priority is not high. You know that the priorities are set based on surveys, feedback portal votes, trends, and interviews. If this item becomes more popular in the future, we will definitely plan it.

If you are looking for a TreeList with client-side data binding capabilities, the Kendo UI TreeList could be a nice option for your project too.
