OCR, 
I think Telerik missing and OCR control to be complete set. We used Telerik for our web development and recently there was a project that we need to OCR the uploaded document. We would like telerik to be one stop shop for development tools and don't go around to find complimentary controls for OCR. So my suggestion is to add OCR control(s)

Hi,

For the time being our plans do not include development and support for non UI oriented controls such as an OCR framework or library. That's why I declined this item, but your fellow developers will be able to vote for it so that we can see if there will be demand for it in the future.

Hi Rumen,
The OCR component can be control like RadZip meaning that it doesn't have User Interface but it can be used by programmer to OCR the uploaded file. For example after I upload a PDF file (or image) I can call RadOCR to get content (as well as other properties an standard OCR provides) then I can save that information in database along with the uploaded document and that make my uploaded document searchable as well. 
This feature can also be added as an option to RadASyncUpload

Hi Hossein,

Thank you for your request for an OCR control. 

How do you think the UI of such component should look like? For example, the user will upload an image, the OCR library will read, recognize the characters and save them in a TXT or Word file.
