Can we get an option to set default all collapsed when using the directive?
It seems to be not compatible with the provided methods.
Using the `kendoGridGroupBinding` directive in combination with the `kendoGridExpandGroupBy` directive or the `isGroupExpanded` callback is not supported. To use grouping with the `kendoGridGroupBinding` directive, set the Grid `groupable` property to `true`
Hi Mauro,
I've investigated the issue and the after math is that we tried to fix it for some of previous releases but it turned out is too complex to be made for all cases ( paging, virtual scrolling, etc. ). It is because when loading portions of data, next portions and their groups are not available and the height cannot be determined, so we decided to postpone this implementation.
As side note will mention that there is no fixed number of votes that guarantees it will be implemented, but more is better.

Ivan

Sorry for the late response, yes on first sight it may look like "won't fix", but I can a sure you that there is constant effort for bug fixing and improvement of KendoAngular suite, just we are not there yet. In this exact case I can personally can guarantee that it will be considered carefully and some more elaboration will be visible in the issue.
