Indeed this is expected behavior with the current implementation of the Scheduler.  So far the Scheduler does not provide an auto event height, but we are tracking the demand for such a feature here:

Providing this functionality will automatically set each event height and there will be no hidden content.  Here is the same feature already implemented in the jQuery Scheduler:
