TileLayout

The TileLayout is a great addition to the jQuery version of Kendo UI. It would be great to have it also as a native component for the Angular version.

And by the way, it would be even greater if you would also add persistence for size and order of the tiles.

Hello Holger,

Yes, you are right. The status was updated.

Regarding the desired feature, I am afraid that the initial implementation of the Kendo Angular TileLayout component will not include it as a built-in option. But probably we will provide a how-to or KB article that demonstrates a possible way of achieving it.

As this feature is on the roadmap now, it should be marked as "Planned".

 

And PLEASE, PLEASE, PLEASE provide functionality for saving/restoring layout, without that it will be rather useless.

We had lots of discussions with users complaining about missing layout persistence functionality like e.g. for the Grid component.
