Thank you for submitting this feature request. However, I am afraid we will have to decline it as currently there is no browser support for such an universal tool or approach for displaying various document types, e.g.:

On the other hand, rendering image files like .png and .jpeg is trivial via the regular HTML <img ... /> element.
