Editor to have built in Markdown support
It would be nice for the Editor to support writing markdown or standard HTML.

In addition, I want to mention that the Editor utilizes ProseMirror library under the hood that provides a Markdown package that can visualize exactly the things that can be expressed in Markdown:

It could be useful when implementing the feature.

Thank you for sharing this feature request. We will track it here, and consider adding such an enhancement, based on the customer demand and estimated business value.

On a side note, standard HTML can be added via the source tool:
