Create a Overlay Component for Waiting Screens when you load Data from Backend Services, .... - With Flexible Loading Icon - Perhaps as ngRx Extension, - Inceting a service where you can just call ShowOverlay or HideOverlay, ...
Hello Martin,
Thanks for the example.

Holger
Hello all,
Such overlay could be added by using .k-overlay class. The same is used for the Dialog component by default and explicitly in the following article which is adding modality to the Window:
https://www.telerik.com/kendo-angular-ui/components/dialogs/window/how-to/add-modality-to-window/
Here is an example where an overlay is added in case the Loader component is shown on the page:
https://stackblitz.com/edit/angular-usfubb
In general, applying this overlay does not allow the user to interact with other elements on the page while it's active.
I hope this helps.
Regards,
Martin

I would like to second Cyril's request.
We are currently using NgxSpinner, but would prefer a full-screen Overlay/Wating Screen based on Kendo UI's Loader component.
Hi Carl,
Thanks for the follow-up on this feature request. However, I think we are missing some stuff here...
As per SquadWuschel request, we were looking for an integrated / all-in-one waiting overlay.
What you provide is pretty basic: it's a an advanced loading icon.
We currently rely on Ionic LoadingController (see https://ionicframework.com/docs/v3/api/components/loading/LoadingController/) and we would love to have something more complete provided by Kendo.
It can be as simple as the solution provided by Ionic. A service, few settings, and that's it.
Looking forward for your feedback.
Cyril
Hey folks!
With R3 2020 we added the Kendo UI for Angular Loader component. From my understanding of this request it should fit in well with the requirements, although it does not have a deeper integration with ngRx. I'll leave this as "planned" for now as folks try out the component. If you need additional features feel free to follow-up here!
Regards,
Carl
