Hey folks!
Jumping in here to provide some updates to this item for anyone interested.
The quick version is that the Kendo UI for Angular Grid does indeed support locking columns to the right-hand side!
When it comes to locked, or frozen, columns you have a couple of options available as of today (May, 2021).
First, you have the traditional locked columns feature. This can lock columns on the left-hand side (the default) or right-hand side (when in RTL mode). These columns are permanently locked/frozen as other columns are scrolled by. A locked column can be defined ahead of time, or dynamically added as well.
Next you have the Kendo UI for Angular Grid Sticky Columns feature, introduced with R2 2021. This is similar to locked columns in that they can be displayed to the left or right of the Grid and be stuck permanently as users scroll through the rest of the columns. However, the big difference is that these columns can also become "un-stuck" when a user scrolls past their original position in the Grid. This also means columns can initially be a normal column but then appear in the locked/frozen section after a user scrolls past the column's position. This ability to be frozen and un-frozen is traditionally referred to as being "sticky"!
With all this I'm marking this item as complete.

Carl
