Grid column reordering

Need the ability to reorder columns and access the current configuration to store and load on next time user access the site.

Already exists on other products on the market and Kendo Grid for jQuery

Hey everyone! With the R1 2018 release the Angular Grid now officially supports column re-ordering. This works both on individual columns as well as multi-header columns. Check it out right here:

Drag and drop column reordering would be very nice to have. I can probably implement this pretty easily myself. However, I do not want to touch the header template, since I would like to use the standard sorting and filter functionality aswel.

Telerik, if you do not provide feedback to give us an idea as to when we expect this, your lack of response makes it hard to plan. At this point I am considering discarding Telerik and building my own grid because - even though it is more expensive - I can control timelines and manage expectations.

Please provide an update.

Guys, it would be great to see some feedback. We are looking at Telerik for our next gen UI, but to be honest, the lack of movement on this makes me wonder whether or not you are the vendor for us.
