Hi Deepak,

Our team is working on adding a builder to the Diagram in a future release. In the meantime, developers can use the Kendo Drag and Drop utility to drop shapes into the Diagram, as shown in the following example:

More shapes can also be added by the developer, depending on the use case.

Great to see that this has finally come along. Couldn't see if the diagram component accepts the drop event where I can drag an item (object) from the list on to it and create a node from the dropped object with data binding. Is this in development? Would also be great to be able to double click the node to edit the object bringing the feature on par with jQuery.

So far the Diagram component is still not part of our immediate development plans. 

Once the development team starts working on it, the status of the feature request will be updated to "In Development".

Hi Phil,

Creating a dedicated Diagram component is in our future plans, but is still not a part of our roadmap for the upcoming releases. Once the component enters the roadmap for an upcoming release, we will update this issue to reflect this (the item status will be changed from Unplanned to Planned).

Come on guys its been quite a while since this feature is pending. The competitors like Syncfusion already have it.

We have chosen to go with Syncfusion as they have already got the Diagram component for Angular. This has taken way too long to implement.

Any progress on this as we really need a Diagram Control for our Angular project and do not really want to just use the jQuery version

Hi,

Providing a dedicated Kendo UI for Angular Diagram component is still not a part of our immediate plans. The currently available approach is to use the Kendo UI for jQuery Diagram in the Angular application as described in the following section of our documentation:

We are tracking the customer demand here and will prioritize accordingly based on the interest when updating our roadmap.
