The Upload 'Select files' localization isn't working.

Reproduction of the problem

  1. Run this Dojo

Current behavior

The localization.select configuration doesn't have effect.

Environment

  • Kendo UI version: 2023.1.314
  • Browser: [all]

Hello,

Thank you for your report.

This is a regression bug and it is going to be addressed with the highest priority.

Until then I recommend to anyone who encounter the bug to use jQuery to workaround the issue:

$(".k-upload-button-wrap").find(".k-button-text").text("Custom text")
