Implement floating label in the DropDownList

Having a floating label functionality similar to the one available for the native Vue DropDownList, would be nice to have.

Hello Christos,

We are currently in the process of finalizing the internal planning for the next release and the addition of Floating labels to the DropDownList and other components is being considered. Therefore I cannot confirm whether or not this will be implemented in the next release cycle, so I can suggest following the updates on the RoadMap page for further details on what you can expect in the nearest future.

Hello Manousos,

Yes, this feature request is in the UI for ASP.NET Core section of the Feedback Portal. We have a similar request for Kendo UI for jQuery. We will monitor the requests, to see whether the community is interested in having this functionality in both suites and plan its implementation accordingly.
