IgnoreCase property is missing for the filterable options of the column:

There are valid instances where being case sensitive matters.  For example filtering data by unit of measure.  In the metric system mg = Milligrams but Mg = Megagrams.  If a user if filtering data by unit of measure and use Mg as the filter value records with Milligram (mg) data should not be returned.
