Support for adding annotations in PDFViewer

Hello,

Id would be great having basic editing functionalities in MAUI PDFViewer as you offer in WPF version.
Especially we're interested in having ability to add text and basic shape annotations.

I have updated the internal item we have for text and comments and added the additional information you shared.

Regarding the time-frame, at this point the status is Unplanned, and I cannot say when the feature will be implemented. Press the follow button to the following item in order to subscribe for status changes.

Hi Yana,

We would like to have all the annotations tools like pens,Comment Text,Stamps,Signature,line pointing to Text,Shapes,Undo,Redo everything under one Annotation bar at top which are going to be user interactive elements with which user can annotate at specific part in the pdf with the tools available.This is the usecase where we are expecting all annotation tools in the UI.

please find the images provided that describes our requirement.

Please help us knowing the timeline for this if it is in pipeline.

Duplicated tag added for the text annotations.

Basic shapes annotations request is unclear. Due to inactivity on this, the status for basic shapes annotations is Declined. More details were requested but information wasn't provided.

We have a feature request about providing support for comment/text annotations for the PdfViewer, you can check it here:

As to the basic shape annotations - currently they are not visualized in the PdfViewer and indeed, this is a valid feature request, still, I'd like to ask you to provide more details on the exact use case you have and what you mean with editing functionalities?
