Grid with paging and default .Scrollable() option doe not persist the scroll status when saved anymore. This used to be the case before release 2025 Q2.

As stated in the title, the Save() action of a grid (with pagination, not endless scroll) does set the scroll position to the top instead of persisting it.

I tried to follow instructions from https://www.telerik.com/aspnet-core-ui/documentation/html-helpers/data-management/grid/scrolling/overview#restoring-the-scroll-position but without success. The scroll position is moved to the top after the DataBound event handler.

Hello Benjamin,

Thank you for reporting this issue.

I've logged it in our backlog: https://github.com/telerik/kendo-ui-core/issues/8269

You will notice that the reproduction steps use the Kendo UI for jQuery Grid and a dojo example is linked in the issue. This is because the bug has been introduced in the Kendo UI for jQuery Grid, which the Core Grid wraps and thus inherits the problem from the Kendo UI widget.

Since the bug is a regression, it has the highest priority.

I've updated your Telerik points for reporting this issue.

Regards,
Ivan Danchev
