pdfviewer annotations and signature

Hi support,

Could you please let us know if you will be adding signature and annotations to the PDF viewer?

If so could you give me an estimate when this could be expected?

I'm currently looking at another product that has this facilities but would prefer to continue to use Telerik.

Hi Laurentiu,

Thank you for sharing your valuable feedback!

The digital signature support in PDF.JS which is used as a base for the RadPdfViewer is still not supported - see the FR item is still open - Digital signatures in pdf.js.

That's why please drop a line in the pdf.js forum as well as give your vote for the https://feedback.telerik.com/kendo-jquery-ui/1431730 since this will increase the demand for it and the backlog priority.

On a side note, it is not completely related to your request, but some of the viewers of this thread may be interested in the following: Digital Signature and Dojo demo.

The electronic signature become more important in COVID infection context, so this feature became a MUST!

Hi Antonio,

The Signiture support is currently not available in RadPdfViewer, but there is an already logged feature request for this functionality in the Kendo UI PdfViewer, so you can cast your vote for it. Once this functionality is implemented in the Kendo widget, it will be available in the RadPdfViewer as well:

Meanwhile, you can take a look at the Signature functionality of the Telerik Document Processing library and see if it is applicable to your needs:
