RadCartesianChart: Runtime exception on iOS simulators with Microsoft .NET 8.0.100

Runtime exception with Microsoft .NET 8.0.100:

*** NSForwarding: warning: object 0x600002199c20 of class 'Telerik_Maui_Controls_Compatibility_ChartRenderer_iOS_TKExtendedChart' does not implement methodSignatureForSelector: -- trouble ahead
*** NSForwarding: warning: object 0x600002199c20 of class 'Telerik_Maui_Controls_Compatibility_ChartRenderer_iOS_TKExtendedChart' does not implement doesNotRecognizeSelector: -- abort

The issue occurs on:

Nuget - Telerik.UI.for.Maui 6.7.0
Maui Version 8.0.7
.NET SDK 8.0.100
Simulator - iOS 16.4 and 17.2 (Version 15.2 -1019)

With the update to Xcode 15.3 it worked correctly.

Hi Javier,

I updated the XCode and now I am using XCode 15.3 and no issues with the controls on simulators. I tested on iPhone and iPad simulators with iOS 17.4 and 17.2.

Could you please update the XCode and install other simulators version (17.4), then test the behavior on your side.

Hi Didi,

I am using MAC with the following versions:

MAcOS Sonoma 14.1.1 Apple M1 Pro

XCode 15.2

MAUI versions: 8.0.6 - SDK version 8.0.100

Microsoft .NET iOS SDK: 17.2.8022

Telerik MAUI: 6.7.0

The only difference I notice is the version of XCode.

Hi Javier,

I reviewed the case ad actually we have been reported this issue before: https://feedback.telerik.com/maui/1636181-controls-runtime-exception-on-ios-simulators-with-microsoft-net-ios-sdk-8-0-100-17-0-8490 It was related to the used Microsoft iOS .NET SDK . The issue was fixed in Telerik MAUI 6.7.0 version and the fix was confirmed from the QA team also from the clients.

I am using mac with the following versions:

MacOS Sonoma 14.3.1 Apple M1 chip

XCode: 15.1

MAUI versions: 8.0.6 / sdk version 8.0.100, Microsoft .NET iOS SDK: 17.2.8022 (usr/local/share/dotnet/sdk-manifest/8.0.100/microsoft.net.sdk.ios)

Telerik MAUI: 6.7.0

Could you please check the Microsoft .NET iOS SDK version on your side and let me know the result.
