Expose Edit Mode's Entry in a Template
Please open and provide the full control templates so we can full customize the controls.  For example, we want to be able to see the combobox control template so we can customize the dropdown beyond just property value changes.

Hello Craig,

I recently had a discussion with one of the developers, and they explained that the RadComboBox does not have a top level ControlTemplate to expose (this is why you do not see a "Template" property at all).

You instead need to explicitly define each template through the exposed template properties that we can lift up to the public API (currently one of the 5 templates you see in the ComboBox Documentation - Templates article.

I am going to change the title of this Feature Request to "Add EditTemplate" better reflect the re-focus of the ask.

We are missing the template for Entry control when the RadComboBox is in Editable Mode.  We need to be able to address the full template of the entry control for the combo box in Xaml as a template.  Currently we are forced to subclass the RadComboBox to access the Entry Control to address issues with the RadEntry control height (https://www.telerik.com/account/support-center/view-ticket/1604667 )  as well as further styling and templating issues.

Hi Craig,

Thank you for the feedback. I have converted the support ticket to a Feature Request that can be publicly tracked. There's no further action needed from you, I've manually added your upvote and you're automatically subscribed.

Request Specifics and Future Guidance

Please note I've changed the product category from "UI for MAUI" to "ComboBox - UI for MAUI". This is so that your feature request doesn't get denied due to throwing such a wide net. There are inherent problems with your initial ask because it assumes there are .NET MAUI ControlTemplates for every control that you can customize. This is not currently true.

Rather, by opening specific Feature Requests for the ControlTemplate you want access to, we can better achieve your request. Additionally, you can avoid delays by directly opening a Feature Request in this portal, rather than going through the support ticket system.

Use the "Request a Feature" button at the top right section of the current portal, here's a screenshot to guide you.
