equivalent control to RichTextBox or RichTextEditor

It would be really nice to have a RichTextBox control for .NET MAUI that worked on all platforms including Windows and Mac. I'm trying to migrate an application from WPF to MAUI and MAUI simply does not have a RichTextBox equivalent.

Telerik had something already for Xamarin called RichTextEditor but I believe it only works on iOS/Android and not Mac/Windows.

If you could do it quickly, you'd actually be the first company to have one as well, as from what I have been able to glean from my research, no company offers one as of yet, hence my predicament.

Hi Joe,

The current state of the control is In Development. The status will be changed. Press the follow button to receive an email notification when the control is live.

As I have explained, the control is scheduled for R2 2023 release of Telerik .NET MAUI- expected in June.

Just mentioning that we are in the same boat.
100% working production project, moved to MAUI and did not realize there was not feature parity.

My users have been plotting my demise for the past month now...

It feels like this control should have either been in the release, had a 'Things Missing' doc or been developed in a few weeks vs months.

Hi Didi, We are also looking for a RichTextEditor for MAUI.

We have used it in Xamarin project. Now we have migrated from Xamarin to MAUI. Now it's required to provide this functionality in the migrated project as well. Can you let us know when we can expect this control up.

The control is In Development state and the team is working on it. The status will be changed and the release in which the control will be added with be included in the public feedback item.
