In DayView there should be an alternative option to see number of days the project is running. For example a project running for 6 months, the numbers should be shown from 1 to 180 days and progress to be displayed against those days.
Thank you for the good screenshot and explanation, Kasim! I confirmed that such a feature or API improvement could be useful by changing the status of the item to Unplanned.
With the current Gantt implementation, you will be able to modify the View Header Template, however without the ability to insert a new extra row.
Another hacky approach would be to modify the DOM of the RadGantt structure and insert this extra row in the header for the days count. A suitable client-side event for this is the OnClientLoad one.

Dear Rumen,
The requirement has nothing to do with Plan Vs Actual plotting. What is expected is instead of date we should be able to show the day count from 1 to end of the project.
in the sample Gantt it is showing Day 1 to Day 50 of the project.
Thank you for your feature request, Kasim!
We appreciate your feedback and will be glad to receive more information on the feature. Have you seen it available in another Gantt component - if yes can you send us a screenshot or a video demonstrating it?
In the meantime please check out these demos which might be helpful: Planned vs Actual and Current Time Marker.
Both of them offer date/time progress-related information. For example, the Planned vs Actual functionality of the Gantt allows you to compare actual start and end dates to originally planned dates.

Rumen
