Upgrade Project error

Hi

I got this dialog pop up when it was trying to upgrade my solution which had a few web sites in it.
It seemed to get lost. I dont know what the VS dialog with 'Description'  is all about.
Not sure what triggers it to say it needed an update and yet there is nothing to update.

Its possible that there is a backup folder that it created from a previous upgrade and it is looking at an old DLL in that project.

Anyway, sure you will sort it out :)

Thanks

Doug

Hi Doug,

I am declining this bug report due to insufficient information to repro the problem and that it passed more than 4 months since the initial report.

If you are able to provide the requested information in the future, we will change the status of the bug report accordingly.

Best Regards,

Hi Doug,

The dialogue displayed is shown when there is an error we need to report. Usually, it contains general information about the exception and the full stack trace in the Description part. I have checked our records and there were no error reports from your end, which could mean there is something blocking the requests. Therefore please launch the wizard again and try to capture a log from the web requests of the extension. Telerik FiddlerCap is very useful for that purpose. Here is how to generate the log:

    1. Download and install Telerik FiddlerCap.
    2. Launch Telerik FiddlerCap.
    3. Make sure Decrypt HTTPS traffic is selected.
    4. Click on Start Capture.
    5. Reproduce the problem
    6. Click on Stop Capture.
    7. Save the session and send us the log (the SAZ file).

The Upgrade Wizard should list all projects which contain the Telerik UI for ASP.NET AJAX main assembly. Perhaps the empty projects list is related to the error that is shown, but we would need more details in order to confirm that. So please try to complete the steps above and hopefully we will be able to get the information needed to pinpoint the issue.

I am looking forward to your reply.

Regards,

Nikola
