Hi everyone,
Thank you for reporting this issue. Following a recent review, we have decided to reopen this bug report, and we apologize that it was closed only because of the time that had passed.

We retested the RadAutoCompleteBox ClientEvents demo running on Telerik.Web.UI.dll 2026.3.812 and the latest versions of Chrome and Safari on iOS latest. The OnClientEntryAdding event fired only once, and we could not reproduce the reported behavior.

Since we support the latest browser versions available for each operating system, we are marking this report as Completed. If you encounter the issue again in a currently supported browser and operating system, please share the details and we will investigate further.

This behavior was originally reported over 9 years ago and has not seen significant demand or follow-up from the community since then. Given this and the need to focus on higher-impact and more frequently requested improvements, we are closing this case.
