Add Pan and Zoom to Gantt 
Add the Pan and Zoom feature found in HTMLChart to Gannt. 
#1 This allows the project timelines to be zooned into and out of on the Right Hand Side, and on the Left Hand Side zoom into the 'bill of material' that makes up a Milestone to just milestone view.
#2 The Pan allows you to sweep along a long gantt chart, across days in a year. On a tablet you can just flick to the left and right to see what jobs you have on.

Can you please explain in more details how do you see these UX features to work? It would be nice if you provide some screenshots or videos demonstrating them.

On a side note, please also vote for the following feature request in the Kendo Feedback portal: https://feedback.telerik.com/kendo-jquery-ui/1360139-gantt-zoom. This is wrathful since RadGantt is a Kendo UI server wrapper and if the features getimplemented in Kendo UI first they will be enabled in the AJAX Gantt too.

I would love these two features, not being able to easily zoom in or out in month view is proving problematic for long lasting projects in the app I've created.
