MediaPlayer: Switch to CSS transitions if supported
Was poking around on the media player demos page in FF and I noticed that your transitions for the overlays are animating out with javascript?

Why are we doing this on a new control...I know you guys like maintaining consistency...but it makes the control feel so "dated" as the elements choppily disappear.

Thank you, Steve! You are correct!

However, since the item didn't get any popularity for many years, the benefit of updating the source of the control will not be so beneficial since we can use the time to implement a new control, feature, or fix an important bug. That's why I set the status to Won't fix.
