AJAX Timeline like WPF Timeline Visualize sequences of events in a user friendly manner
I need a timeline AJAX component to "Visualize sequences of events in a user friendly manner" like this one in WPF : http://www.telerik.com/products/wpf/timeline.aspx

Do you plan to do that ?

Hi everyone and thank you for your feedback!

I have good news that a timeline widget is already available and ready for use in the Kendo UI for jQuery suite.

The timeline component is also in Telerik ASP.NET AJAX to-do list and it will most likely appear in one of the major releases in 2020.

I would like to have a chronological timeline control that displays time-line in a manner similar to the attached screenshot.

We are showing tasks of project and they have different kind of properties, which should be shown on timeline. Tasks are beloning to Phase and it has properties too.  Now the current way to show phases are just line with name.  So versatile template is the key and way to show additional information with tooltip. Objects are based on EF, so currently everything has to be converted first to get them work.

We'd use it to show deadlines (upcoming, overdue, etc) in a dashboard.

We ended up being forced to use vis.js: http://visjs.org/timeline_examples.html

And managed to get it to do what you see in the attached image:

I develop a request / workflow system. I'd like to visualize the events that have happened so far in the request. Users could see how much time the request has spent in various workflow status's and when thy have changed.
